Test Dream Machines RX5080-18PL27 - Silent Hill 2 (RT)

Silent Hill 2 wykorzystuje silnik Unreal Engine 5, charakteryzując się przyzwoitą oprawą wizualną, którą zapewnia nawet podstawowa wersja silnika z obligatoryjnie włączonym Software Lumen (opcjonalnie możemy włączyć Ray Tracing i tutaj mowa po prostu o Hardware Lumen, wpływającym na oświetlenie oraz odbicia). Zabrakło jednak efekciarstwa, bowiem świat skąpano w odcieniach brudnej zieleni, szarości, brązu i czerni. Jako miejsce testowe wybrałem leśną ścieżkę prowadzącą do tytułowego miasta, którą odwiedzamy niedługo po rozpoczęciu rozgrywki na parkingu. Silent Hill 2 jest produkcją mocno skupioną na wydajności układów graficznych i na tym też się skupiamy w tych testach. Drugi zestaw testów dotyczy włączonego Ray Tracingu w postaci Hardware Lumen.
